Tor Hatch is a much-loved family home and has been in the O’Hea family for three generations. It is a welcoming and easily managed house with an eclectic collection of wonderful art and sculpture, each with an interesting story to tell.
Life tends to centre around the large kitchen with the constant warmth of the AGA, panoramic views across the Surrey Hills from the kitchen sink, and cosy snug with TV and wood-burning stove. For more formal dining, move into the adjacent room where there is a large oak dining table which can extend to seat 14-16.
The drawing room and conservatory are linked, creating a spacious area to either sit and read by the log fire, or relax and enjoy the views and balmy warmth of the conservatory. Comfortable beds are one of the owners’ priorities, so expect to slumber on downy toppers with crisp white bedding.
In the summer months, after a dip in the pool, enjoy “al fresco” eating at the pool house before a knock-up on the tennis court (which is functional throughout the year). In the summer, the extensive vegetable garden is full of produce for you to enjoy.

The swimming pool is open from the end of May until mid Sept. There is an option to have the pool heated (by arrangement with the owner. Additional charge for oil consumed). Due to the pool please ensure children are supervised at all times.
A refundable damage deposit of £500 is charged with second balance payment.This will be refunded on your departure.
